Area52 Outstanding Site Webring Application

The Area52 Outstanding Site Webring was created to link some of the best sites on the web, regardless of the site topic.
To join the Area52 Outstanding Site Webring your site must have a minimum of 10 pages. It should be pleasing to the eye and interesting to the visitor. Grammar and spelling count but need not be perfect. It is best if any music you have on your site can be able to be turned off by the visitor. You must have some real content: a few cool graphics and a bunch of links do not count as content. Your site should be fresh and original and it should be evident that it is updated with some frequency. Broken graphics and links count against your site, so be sure everything works before you apply. You must place the Official Area52 Webring code and graphic on the page you apply for as soon as you submit your site. Your site need not be cream of the crop, but should be fairly good.
No porn, hacking, bigotry, hate sites, child exploitation, excessively offensive material or language or warez allowed. Commercial sites and WYSIWYG pages need not apply. Porn does not apply to fantasy art, which may include some nudity. Offensive material does not mean one or two cuss words or screen shots from cheesy horror movies. The site overall must be extremely offensive for this rule to apply.
Your site will be viewed and voted on by a panel of Area52 Mentors. You will receive an acknowledgment of your application within a day and you will be informed of whether or not you have been accepted in ten days of submitting your site. Sites without ring codes on the submitted page will remain in the queue for three weeks and then deleted if the code does not appear.
In the unlikely case that your application is rejected, you will receive an explanation as to why and suggestions to fix up your site to make it worthy of this ring, and you will be encouraged to try again. You will also be offered help by our members to make your site the best it can be.
